We have started with some small changes to our branding - These new style guides are filled with lots of information that you will receive once you book your photo shoot with us
Why are style guides important?
Style guides are sent to you upon booking and give you a good sense of what to wear for your shoot.
Our photography style is very light and airy, using mainly white backgrounds, light natural props and neutral outfits for your baby.
To keep in line with this is important because if everyone is matching in the photos then this will really compliment your final images.
Our style guides give you some examples on what is best to wear.
What else is included in the guides?
We include some tips to prepare for your session - This will be things like feeding your newborn baby before your shoot so they are nice and sleepy once they arrive. Or if it is an older baby then to give them a nap before you arrive etc
Our contact and location details are also included (although you are given this information already) because when you are rushing out the house you won’t always remember to write the address down, and so having it in your guide on your phone gives you easy access
What to bring - Depending on what shoot you are booking there will be a different list of what to bring. Such as extra formula for bottle fed newborn babies, toys and snacks for older children (because we all need a little bribery sometimes!) and also to bring any special toys or blankets that you’d like photographed
Things to think about before your shoot - It’s a good idea to have a little think about some things before your photo shoot - Who do you want to be present in the photos? What type of images do you like? Have you seen any of my portfolio images that you’d like to recreate?
What to expect - This is another important one because not all photographers work in the same way, not all photography studios look the same, and not all of our packages are the same. Giving you some extra information about your photoshoot gives you a good idea of exactly what to expect from your photo session and an idea of what we do and why
