It’s that time of the year that we no longer desire to join up for baby / toddler classes, and would rather be outside in the fresh air and under the sun doing outdoor activities with the family and making a day of it
There are plenty of disadvantages of living in the UK, such as the weather… however the good outweigh the bad by far.
We have lots of stunning spots in the country side, sandy beaches and some beautiful national trust places.
I’ve put together a list of local (to Surrey / Hampshire) places that are fab for family days out - some of which I have visited myself and some that have been highly recommended to me by my clients.
Ive only been to the great pond rather than the little pond but I hear it’s fantastic.
With sandy areas and a very beach-like feel, stunning walks and a beautiful lake to swim/paddle in, you really could spend the whole day here.
Frensham great pond is an open and wide area, and Frensham little pond is more secluded
With beautiful big lakes, waterfalls and different walking tracks Virginia Water is a stunning place for a long walk. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl and it’s just beautiful. Slow walks, bike rides, picnics and a huge totem pole
With an outdoor farm, activity areas, cafe and soft play, Jakes farm will fill up your day
I’ve not been here myself yet but I’ve been told it’s similar to Jakes (above) but bigger
If your little ones loves jumping in and getting involved feeding the animals then this is the place for you
