I finally did it!!
During recent photo shoots most of my customers have asked me if I was going to have any maternity pictures taken before baby arrives..
As anyone that knows me, you'll know how much I adore capturing memories.. (well that's kind of obvious anyway otherwise id be in the wrong job!)
BUT.. I don't particularly like photos of myself. I think this is because I am so used to being behind the camera, rather than in front of it.
I don't like the way I look when I am looking right into the camera. I much prefer ones where I am looking away, as if I'm daydreaming.. looking a lot more relaxed.
The last time I was in a decent photo was on my wedding day which was almost 3 years ago, and again I preferred the shots where I wasn't looking.
I don't mind the way that I look whilst being pregnant, obviously its a but of a change.. what with all of the extra weight, but generally I am proud of my beautiful baby bump!
It was a bit of a scary thought when I spend a lot of time photographing such beautiful Mums
I knew I wanted to capture this wonderful stage of my life, as the mobile selfies using a mirror reflection just wasn't special enough.
I hadn't booked someone to take the pictures for me as I knew I wanted it to be personal and in my own studio
..I wanted a certain style, to keep it natural, arty and possibly black and white
So.. yesterday I went into the studio and decided to be brave ðŸ¤

I am so so glad that I managed to capture these bump pictures and I really will treasure these forever!
